The CenterPoint TopGolf Charity Event was a tremendous success thanks to the generosity of Sponsors and Attendees. Held at TopGolf Minneapolis on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, the event raised over $20,000 which will be split between two military charities.
The event benefited two charities that do important work within our Veteran communities, Naked Warrior Project and Elite Meet. Both charities depend on fundraising and events to provide their services to our Nation’s heroes and their families.
Naked Warrior Project is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 2017 to honor and preserve the memory of our fallen Navy SEAL and SOCOM/JSOC heroes. The organization also provides support and a sense of community to the Gold Star Families left behind.
Elite Meet was founded to help returning special operations heroes find high-quality employment in the civilian world. After spending an average of 10 years inside combat units that demand all of their time, job hunting during the transition back to civilian life can be difficult. Elite Meet matches these elite Veterans with meaningful, high-quality job opportunities.
Adam Parks, Board Member of Naked Warrior Project, Treasurer of Receivables Management Association International, and Chief Marketing Officer of Plaza Services helped to organize and promote the sold-out event. “I cannot thank Aaron Rose, Kacey Rask, and the entire CenterPoint Legal Solutions team enough for all of the hard work and time they invested into this event,” says Parks. “Our US special operations warriors have pledged their lives in defense of our country and this event was a wonderful way to express our gratitude for their service while making a direct impact in the lives of our US Veterans and their families. We were honored to have John Allen, CEO and Co-Founder of Elite Meet fly to Minneapolis for the event. His presence was appreciated by all. We are very thankful for each person’s generous financial contribution. Each dollar goes a long way to further the missions of both Elite Meet and Naked Warrior Project.”
