The Adobe Ideas touch app is a very versatile tool for early in the design process giving you mobile design flexibility while easily integrating with your Adobe Desktop apps like Illustrator, InDesign and Fireworks. Ideas gives you simple tools to document your design inspiration on your mobile devices using your finger or a stylus to get even strokes. (We suggest the Bamboo Stylus for optimal performance)

For Creative Cloud users, your Adobe Ideas designs are automatically uploaded to your cloud space allowing you to quickly switch between devices. Your Ideas images can be opened automatically in Adobe Illustrator keeping each of your strokes available for modification. It’s a great way to bring your hand drawings to Adobe Illustrator with maximum control over your design.

Adobe Ideas is indispensable for recording your ideas wherever inspiration strikes. Although it is a very simple app with only a few colors and drawing options, the integration with the cloud and usability of the drawings on desktop computers makes it an important addition to any designer’s mobile device.

The app is more expensive than most at $9.99 for both the iPhone and iPad versions, but Adobe Creative Cloud users receive a free month of service if they purchase 3 Adobe Touch Apps for their iOS or Android devices.
